Ph. D. graduate student, Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, Morocco. Her thesis is on the molecular characterization of begomoviruses-infecting tomatoes and application of molecular markers for breeding tomatoes for multiple disease resistance. She developed new protocols for tagging the Mi-1 gene for resistance to root knot nematode. Her research is support by a MERC/USAID grant. She has spent two training periods at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
