Example of L. esculentum var. cerasiforme, Central American "wild" tomato.

 

 Sungold tomato on left, cherry type, and cerasiforme on right.  The cerasiforme plants were grown near Madison, Wisconsin from seed collected in Sanarate, Guatemala.  Plants are very vigorous and produce small fruit about 10 g or less.
