During the week of September 15, 2003, the research team evaluated 7,600 tomatoes and made selections of about 162 plants for future testing.  Team members shown (left to right):  Luis Mejia, Universidad de San Carlos; Jay Scott, University of Florida; Rudy Teni, Universidad San Carlos; Douglas Maxwell, University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Team members not shown:  Amilcar Sanchez and Die.  Temperature was around 35 C each day.
