Evaluation of tomato germplasm for resistance to geminiviruses in Sanarate, GT: March 04 --  Begomovirus resistant genes from wild species.

The wild tomato species, L. hirsutum, L. chilense, and L. peruvianum are sources of resistance genes for many pathogens.  The wild species are the fruits on the top of the "tomatoes".  Note that the fruits of these wild species never turn red.
