Evaluation of tomato germplasm for resistance to geminiviruses in Sanarate, GT

Combining resistance from L. hirsutum and L. peruvianum.
Extremely vigorous, resistant plant at 85 days after
transplanting from F2 population of the cross, GL11 x GF5. Breeding line
GL11 derived from TY198 (L. peruvianum resistance) and breeding line GF5
derived from FAVI 9 with L. hirsutum resistance. DSI = 1.5.
Extremely good plant. Seeds were collected for F3 population and a
breeding line will be selected in September 2003.
