GF13 Breeding Line

GF13 in January 03 at Sanarate, Guatemala about 26 days after transplanting.  Seedlings were produced in the open and no insecticides were used.  Geminivirus resistance genes are from L. hirsutum.

Susceptible commercial hybrid, Marina, in the same test plots.  100% of the plants had geminiviral symptoms.  Marina is one of the main hybrids grown in Guatemala.
