1. Prepare silencing constructs for TYLCV, sequence them and test their efficacy in controlling the virus, followed by transforamtion of the silencing construt into Agrobactrium. All this information and techniques will be taught to our students at AUB..

2. Preparation of a Lebanese infectious clone: full genome has been amplified in Beirut, and will be clonned and sequenced in Madison
